Her last name means high/noble apparently. Not that that has anything to do with anything really ... I just googled "Irish Surnames" and took the one I thought sounded best. I was gonna use my mum's maiden name but it felt weird.
Aha, it's the same reason I don't name the characters after myself or people I know.
